Meisha jumped to his side, keeping him from falling to the ground. She lifted him up and turned back towards the cliffs of Zorron, their home among the ryders.
This quest had ended differently than he planned. Instead of returning home with a ruby for their mural, he had discovered a power the gods feared and it was now a part of him and Meisha. To top it all off, for some reason Salza wanted them to have it.
This isn’t over just yet. Something is coming...and I am going to be a tool in stopping it. At least that was what his gut was screaming as darkness took him.
